Professional Japanese Sharpening, Servicing and Repair

We guarantee a professional hand sharpening service by in-house Japanese technicians and welcome any brand, style or size of scissors for service. Our service includes cleaning, inspection, sharpening, polish, balance, tension, bow set and oiling.

Please call or email us providing full details of your scissor or thinning scissor, make, model, size and any other details which you feel are relevant. We will inform you if parts need changing or replacing due to wear and tear once we receive your scissor, additional parts are chargeable. Parts could include replacement washers, screws, stoppers or finger rests.

Sharpening prices may vary from £48.00 up to £65.00 (depending on product). Discounts will be offered for more than five pairs of scissors.

Laser Engraving and Custom Blades

Your scissors are an extension of your personality, so why not add your own unique style to your blades in our custom shop. Create a bespoke pair of scissors and make a statement. Our design team can help you customise a selection of our blades from laser engraving and coloured centre bolts to a fully bespoke handmade one off custom piece. We can also customise your existing blades with laser engraving up to 20 characters in four different fonts or bespoke designs. Postal and Delivery

Royal Mail Special Delivery is Guaranteed the next working day. We recommend this service to protect you of any loss or damage which has inclusive compensation cover of £750. First and Second Class Recorded Delivery postage aims to deliver your parcel the next working day and includes compensation cover for £50. Please note costs will vary depending on weight of your package. Requests for Special next day delivery per order is chargeable at £7.80. Saturday delivery is available for an additional charge.

Scissors will only be shipped once payment has been received. If payment is not made, KenchiBlade takes no responsibility for unpaid products and will only keep products in storage for 30 days.

When you have received your scissor(s), you have three working days to fully test them. If there are any issues you should notify us immediately by email.
